National Manufacturing Day takes place the first Friday of October. National Manufacturing Day 2016 is October 7.
How is National Manufacturing Day celebrated?
To celebrate an important industry as well as educate and inspire future generations, many American manufacturers offer open houses in their communities on National Manufacturing Day. Depending on their craft, many companies are also offering seminars, webinars, open-houses, speeches, and other events to promote engagement and thought leadership in the manufacturing industry.
What is Modern Manufacturing Week?
This year a group of partners that serve the manufacturing industry through technology solutions and consulting are collaborating to offer Modern Manufacturing Week for business leaders in the industry.
